Three Generations of Excellence in Orthodontic Care
At Winchester Orthodontics PC we take pride in being orthodontic specialists offering the highest quality orthodontic care. As specialists, we provide every patient with a comprehensive and state-of-the-art evaluation. Furthermore, we present every patient with an individualized treatment plan catered to his or her needs. Since a proper treatment plan is critical to the success of your orthodontic treatment with Invisalign, we will spend the necessary time with you to develop the best treatment plan possible.
Step 1 - Initial Exam for Invisalign
The first step for Invisalign treatment is a comprehensive examination. The visit includes a thorough examination with digital photographs of your teeth, a complete extraoral and intraoral examination, and evaluation of any problems. Once we have a chance to evaluate the state of your occlusion and any problems that may exist, we discuss our recommendations and what we believe are the best options for you. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and learn how we can help you achieve the beautiful smile that you desire.
Step 2 - Diagnostic Records for Invisalign
We take a set of comprehensive records that includes impressions of your teeth, a panoramic radiograph, and lateral cephalometric radiograph. These records allow us to perform an evaluation of your dental and skeletal structures.
Step 3 - Consultation for Invisalign
We present to you our proposed treatment plan and discuss your payment options.
Step 4 - Impressions for Invisalign
We take a set of PVS impressions of your upper and lower teeth to be sent to Invisalign.
Step 5 - Fabrication of Aligners by Invisalign
We work with Invisalign to digitally construct your aligner treatment. Invisalign takes our treatment plan and fabricates the entire series of aligners to be shipped to our office.
Step 5 - Insertion of Invisalign Aligners
Each set of aligners are typically worn for two weeks and we progress through the entire series until your teeth are straight. We periodically monitor your progress during this time to ensure that your teeth are moving properly and to make adjustments as needed.
